Expats in Girona:
the Real Estate Market from the Inside

The increasing arrival of foreigners choosing to live here —known as expats— is transforming the real estate market in Girona. Beyond the economic impact, this shift brings new social and urban planning challenges. In the program, I shared how this reality affects not only property prices and housing supply, but also how we understand living spaces and local territory. I had the privilege of taking part in the 30 Minuts program on TV3, (broadcasted last April 27th, 2025) dedicated to the growing expat phenomenon in Catalonia — and especially in Girona, the city where I work as a property finder.

To me, everyone searching for a home needs more than just a roof — they need guidance, trust, and someone who will look after their interests. And someone who understands the local context. This is the role I take on every day as a property finder in Girona, and it’s the perspective I brought to the report.
